10 Skin Care Tips To Look Your Best In Any Season

My top 10 fall skin care tips are things you can do every day to have the best skin year round.  Transitioning into fall means  the colors change and the leaves start falling as we settle in to a more calm.   It does not have to mean your skin dries up and loses its Summer-glow.

1. MOISTURIZE EVERY DAY.

 

No exceptions. Even if you are completely covered you need the extra hydration. Moisturize immediately after you shower and dry off, so it locks in the moisture your skin has absorbed, thus is where I like to add Active Replenish Body Hydration– trust me, your skin will thank you.

2. USE SPF DAILY

Even if you are not directly in the sun or it’s not  80-degree, weather doesn’t mean you’re not getting sun. Remember, sun is one of the leading causes of aging all year!   What do you really know about UVA and UVB?  What do you really know about UVA and UVB?  Skin cancer prevention month should be every day- wear that sunscreen!  I Have several options: 

3. FACE MASKS.

Treat yourself to a face mask at least once a week! Whether  you want hydration, a luminous glow, a calm soothing experience or to treat stubborn acne.  Get your mask on

4. EXFOLIATION IS LIKE RAKING LEAVES

Exfoliating your skin removes the dead dry top layer of your skin to allow new fresh skin to come through   I just love the smell of my vitamin C salt and sugar scrub I use to not only exfoliate my face but my whole body. Microderm abrasion paste should be on your Fall tips to great skin list!

5. USE A CREAMY BODY WASH.

Rather than those fruity body gels with heavy fragrance, use a heavier, creamier option that will help add the extra moisture your skin needs to combat Fall dryness.   And then give it a double whammy with the replenish body hydration after bath or shower

6. KEEP HAND CREAM WITH YOU IN YOUR PURSE.

Think of how many times you wash your hands a day- water causes dryness and with the combined effect of dry, fall air, you’ve got to stay ahead of it.

7. THOSE SUMMER FEET

Whatever exfoliating and moisturizing you’ve been doing throughout the summer to keep your feet looking sandal-superb, keep it up during the Fall, even under those boots and closed-toe heels. You never know when someone might catch you barefoot and the microdermabrasion paste will keep your feet looking their best and callous and cracking free.

8. DON’T LICK YOUR LIPS.

That may provide a quick, temporary fix to dryness, but it will only chap them more in the long run.  Did you also know it is important to use a lip balm with an SPF in it to protect your lips from the sun?  Here is my favorite

9. GET YOUR GLOW BACK.

It’s all fun and games until it’s not fun and games. Did long summer nights and those floating days on the water wreak havoc on your skin? This is my personal share to you to bring back your glow and remove any dark spots, discoloration or uneven skin tone you acquired over the summer.   I must admit, I am guilty of not applying sunscreen as often as I should and my skin paid the price. 10. DRINK LOTS OF WATER ALWAYS.

Even though you might not feel hot and thirsty, it was good practice to always Consume at least 8  big glasses of water a day   Your skin loves  water, not only will help clear it up but also keeps it hydrated and fresh looking.
